If you’re looking for a coffee shop that feels like more than just a place to grab a cup of coffee, you should check out Penny’s in Cape Coral.
The coffee is really good,flavorful, strong, and there are quite a few options to choose from. They also have Lotus energy drinks and other drinks if coffee isn’t your thing.
What we really like about Penny’s is that you can actually stay awhile. We work from here and it’s comfortable and easy to settle in, but it also works just as well for meeting a friend or grabbing breakfast. They’re women-owned, which we always love supporting.
Their breakfast menu has some fun choices, including a few more health-forward options, and they have books and games around the shop that you can enjoy while you’re there.
It just has a very easy, comfortable feel to it. You can come in for coffee, stay for breakfast, get some work done, meet up with friends, or even come back later for a glass of wine. (They offer wine selections!)

I have recently started a quest to find the best coffee house in the area, and I think i may have found it! The atmosphere is nearly exactly what I was looking for. The iced latte I had was great, a perfect balance of coffee flavor to added syrups. The staff were friendly and welcoming without making you fee hovered over. The Bring a Book Leave a Book library and game corner make it feel like a place for connections and community rather than a place to run in and out of without appreciating the experience of a coffee house/bar. The lighting it soft but not too dim, the music was a perfect "in the background" volume.
